You will always begin with a sample dashboard. You should "Dismiss" this sample dashboard to see the real data from your surveys.

Setting the default dashboard

Freshsurvey provides a general dashboard for all the survey types and also theme-specific dashboards for NPS, CSAT, and CES. Remember as soon as you log in, you will land on to the dashboard page. You can decide, which dashboard you wish to land on whenever you log in to Freshsurvey. To do so:

1. Once you're in the product, look for the hamburger menu to your top left. Clicking on this will show the different dashboards available.

2. Navigate to the dashboard of your choice, and click on the 'Set as default' option at the top of your screen.

Dashboard pages

A total of four dashboards pages can be used to look at the data collected from different points of view:

1. Summary

It gives you an overview of your themed surveys viz. NPS score, CSAT score, or CES score. It further includes widgets to show the distribution, trend, the number of responses received, how the scores are split, the change over time, and more.

2. Strengths/ Opportunity or Feedback

For the NPS dashboard, the feedback will be split into Strength and Opportunity pages, whereas for other themed dashboards viz. CSAT and CES, you will see the Feedback is presented on a single page.

NPS strengths dashboard page revolves around promoters. Use it to understand what promoters are saying and track positive movements(passives and detractors turned promoters)

The NPS opportunities dashboard page is devoted to passives and detractors. Use it to understand what they are saying and track negative movements (promoters or passives turned detractors and promoters turned passives)

For the CSAT and CES dashboards, the feedback page brings you the driver question's feedback shared by the respondents. Helping you understand why they gave a positive, neutral, or negative score.

3. Responses

This dashboard gives you an overview of the kind of responses your surveys receive, including the number of responses with and without comments, the split between partial and complete responses, how much time the respondents are taking to complete the survey from the initial survey render, and more.

4. Channels

This dashboard can help understand how well channels perform when customers are most likely to respond and more.

Filtering your dashboards

Freshsurvey's dashboards allow you to filter data and view specific information. There are three broad filters:

1. Filter by survey name

2. Filter by date range

Available next to the previous filter, this allows you to view data between specific periods.

3. Advanced filters

These can be used to gain more granular control over the reports. Beyond filtering by survey name and date ranges, you can also add conditional filters to slice data in a more meaningful way.

Note: Advanced filters can only be accessed by account owners, admins, and analysts.
