DKIM or DomainKeys Identified Mail is an extra layer of authentication for emails that helps improve delivery. It also protects senders and recipients from spam, spoofing, and phishing.

To configure DKIM settings in Freshsurvey

PART A:

Go to 'Settings' in the left sidebar and click on ‘DKIM settings' and click  the ‘+ New DKIM’ button

Enter your domain name and click on 'Save'. This will generate 4 CNAME DNS records.

PART B:

In your Domain Control Panel, create four new CNAME entries with the generated 'Host value' and 'Data'.

Back on the Freshsurvey DKIM screen, open the domain's menu, and click 'Verify' to complete verification.

If the CNAME values have been successfully added, 'Verified' labels will be displayed against each record. It might take a few minutes to a couple of hours for the DNS changes to be propagated and successfully verified depending on the DNS provider and settings.
